Rachel and Wesley

It has been quite a while since I posted. Time for some new paintings.
I got a lovely commission to do of 2 young children. Rachel and Wesley. I'm glad the grandmother loved the portraits. She kindly gave me permission to post the portraits.

English landscape

Finally some watercolour painting again...........
I had the background done ages ago, and when I went through the unfinished paintings, I thought this could  be an English landscape with the mountains. For the foreground I used a photo of my friend Stephie to finish it.
A quarter sheet Arches.

Playing Paige

Months ago I painted a background without knowing what to paint on it, until I saw a picture of a friend. Playing Paige.
To me an unique atmosphere that was exactly what I needed on that background.

Time passes quickly.

It's very busy here at the moment.

I got some roses from friends because of the bad news about Hans.

He won't recover. And I feel very very sad about it. We make the best of it and I enjoy every day we are together. It's hard to see my love being so ill.

I was in tears when I got these roses. But they also made me smile.......... friends world wide!!!!

These are some others I did when I stayed with Stephie in London.
We picked up some leaves and used them as example to paint from live.
Done without drawing.
