English landscape
Finally some watercolour painting again...........
I had the background done ages ago, and when I went through the unfinished paintings, I thought this could be an English landscape with the mountains. For the foreground I used a photo of my friend Stephie to finish it.
A quarter sheet Arches.

Sunny City
It has been a while since I posted, but here is another abstract city. Made with a palet knife and acrylic paint on canvas. 50x70 cm.
I made this when my friend Stephie was here in August. We had lots of fun experimenting.

Red Passage

It's almost all done with a palet knive. I first put all the patches with different colours down and then devoeloped it into this abstract scene of a city and water.
Acrylic canvas is 80x100 cm, 32x40".

The Major

My dog...The Major... a Jack Russell terrier is 14 years old now, and this is the second time I painted her.
Once in watercolour and now in................... watermixable oil paint.
Stephie and I saw a demonstration at the David Shepherd Wildlife Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London,
Mandy Shepherd and Emily Lamb were demonstrating there.
I ordered the watermixable oilpaint because I liked it so much and it does work fine.
No terpetine, no smell. Fantastic!! The brand I could order here is Cobra.
